What AI Search Has Changed About Getting Found Online
Search doesn't start and end on a results page anymore. People ask an AI assistant for a recommendation instead of scanning ten blue links, and those answers pull from structured, well-built sites — not from whoever bid highest on an ad.
What's different about being found now
- Clean semantic HTML and real written content, not image-only text an AI system can't read.
- Structured data (schema.org) so search engines and AI systems can actually parse what a page is about.
- Being specific enough to be worth citing — generic filler doesn't make it into an AI-generated answer.
None of this replaces good, honest content — it just means the technical foundations underneath it matter more than they used to, not less.
